There's no denying the power of Massage. Regardless of the adjectives we assign to it (pampering, rejuvenating, therapeutic) or the reasons we seek it out (a luxurious treat, stress relief, pain management), massage therapy can be a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen. We offer a wide variety of massage that may differ from your usual spa experience...

  • Sports massage: is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.

  • Swedish massage: Most common type of massage.  It is a gentle, slow massage that can be full body or requested areas.  If this is your first time or you don't get massages often, this is the place to start.

  • Deep tissue massage:  This massage focuses on the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fasia to help release chronic muscle tension or otherwise called "knots".  Deep tissue massage is simular to swedish massage, but is generally more intense.

  • Neuromuscular release:  is a specialized form of deep tissue massage in which digital pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in the muscle. These areas of strain are called tender or trigger points and are the cause of muscular pain symptoms.

  • Myofascial release:  Myofascial release is a manipulative treatment that attempts to release tension in the fascia due to trauma, posture, or inflammation.  This type of treatment employ long stretching strokes meant to balance tissue and muscle mechanics and improve joint range of motion in order to relieve pain.
